Triton AI represents UC San Diego as an Associate Member of the #1 ranked U.S. Indy Autonomous Challenge team, AI Racing Tech. We’ve partnered up with UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, and University of Hawaii to develop a fully autonomous Indy 500 car.
Triton AI and AI Racing Tech compete in the annual AKS, held by Purdue University (previously known as evGrandPrix), where collegiate student teams from the U.S. and Canada design, build and race fully autonomous electric go-karts.
Our F1TENTH team builds 1:10 scale robot racers using NVIDIA GPU developer kits, testing a variety of frameworks for unique head-to-head racing in F1TENTH competitions hosted by IEEE conferences all around the globe.
Triton AI and San Diego community non-profit robotics org, Team Inspiration, compete in RobotX where students build on a 16-foot Autonomous Surface Vessel (ASV) and their own drone (UAV) so the two systems can work together to complete tasks.
Triton AI and Team Inspiration compete with students around the world to design and build robotic submarines, or Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), and took home the #1 international champion title in 2020.
Another subcategory of RoboNation competitions, Triton AI and Team Inspiration work together to design, build and compete with a robotic boat that can maneuver through aquatic challenge courses.
